Cap Challenge Concepts Edition

Another Super Mario 64 vanilla edit? Lazy. 2 years of work? Lemme see...

Plugin says OGRE, but I used Jabo because old Project64.

Changes:
-More moves chain together and Mario is a little slower.

-Hopefully fixed sequence breaks. Let me know, experts, I tried really hard, maybe went overboard.

-MOST IMPORTANTLY, more enemies will take Mario's cap and he will have to retrieve it from them. A couple enemies (namely the fish enemies and Bubba) will keep it until leaving the area and you'll find it elsewhere, so beware.

-Mario can also lose his Cap a few other ways, such as hitting walls and falling down.

-A good handful of behavior changes.

-Alternate enemies, one of which you'll find in a secret game mode.

-A Stat/Rank system at the end of the game. Game SAVES at the Grand Star.

-8 extra secret stars.

-Some missions were replaced with new ones.

-40 Bonus Stars for veterans. Unlocks game play choices for New Game.

-Custom ASM results in Expansion Pak requirement.

-Fully tested on real hardware/EverDrive. Only one non-vanilla crash I am aware of, but it seems too rare for me to replicate (related to Klepto dive behavior and Mario collision. Happened only once when Mario was swimming and just barely touched his Cap after Klepto dove in). Other than that, I did my best to prevent the out-of-bounds Mario's Cap crash from being a factor.

-Also, more Toads. Make sure you read any new signposts too.

-A pipe to delete your saved progress and a fallen star to save the game anytime.

-Only one game file. I needed to make room for extra conditions and stats, etc.

-Anything else I forgot! ...Oh! The intro cutscene is shorter!
