Catharsis

This hack features several custom coded mechanics, including an ingame savestate feature, moving water, streamed music, and more.
It was created for the ROM Hack Time Challenge Round 5, the fifth in a series of hacking competitions hosted by ToasterKetchup, where participants had a limited time period to create short hacks.
